01 Working approach
My career has moved from software engineering and solution architecture to product development and company building.
The roles changed; the discipline did not: understand the problem, question the assumptions and build against real constraints.
Today, that approach runs through 2PI AI Tech, NovaOne B.V. and continuing product work with Mobile Water in the Netherlands.
02 A working philosophy
A discipline for testing what others take for granted.
Ideas are often called irrational when they challenge assumptions that have quietly become rules. I do not reject reason; I ask whether the premise still deserves to be treated as fact—then build the evidence.
03 The journey
A 19+ year progression from engineering systems to founding companies across India and the Netherlands.
Completed a B.E. in Information Technology at The National Institute of Engineering and began building software systems professionally.
At Mobile Water and Hughes Systique, moved from solution architecture into engineering leadership and complex delivery.
Founded mLytic. It did not become a lasting business, but it marked my shift from product delivery into company building.
Began Nova One with Marcel Dijkgraaf, Frank van Rotterdam and Jeroen Kok in 2016; incorporated as NovaOne B.V. on 5 July 2017, with me registered as director.
Founded 2PI AI Tech to build applied AI and software products from Patna.
Another honest chapter. I also co-founded Blue Trust. It did not reach the commercial outcome we wanted, but it sharpened my work in applied AI, payments and risk.
04 Core ventures
Challenge the assumptions. Engineer the product. Stay accountable to sustained use.
Nova One began with a semantic customer-care chatbot that remained in use for about two years, then grew into messaging, RCS and conversational products for the Dutch market.

I led the architecture and engineering of Vodafone SMS Bulk Manager with Mobile Water’s Dutch product team and engineers in Patna. Built for high-volume operational and crisis communication, it sends directly through Vodafone NL’s SMSC.
At Mobile Water, I lead the technical architecture behind SEVA: customer-specific assistants grounded in locally validated knowledge, with explicit routing and human handoff. A Wlz assistant moved into customer use at MEE Plus in 2025.
05 Current perspective
A demonstration proves possibility. A product must prove reliability, usefulness and fit.
My focus is what makes AI dependable in use: grounded information, explicit boundaries, observable behaviour and human involvement where judgment matters.
